Personally I am knitting with the Quads, and I cannot be more surprised, I have used other square needles and have not enjoyed the experience at all. I feel the adapters have made the difference here, as the cords do not in anyway impede your knitting, they don't hold stiff, or twist off in annoying directions. They just follow what you are asking them to do.
My cast on is so neat, as the stitches have an 'edge' to rest on and make a perfectly formed uniform stitch. The same goes for my tension while knitting - this has taken me completely by surprise.
