Introducing New Zealand’s brand new fibre festival, Wool Ewe Dunedin 2025.

Brought to you by Mary of Want Need Crave and Jan Aitken from Crofters Yarn.

The idea was born out of meeting an inspiring community of yarny people who have surfaced in Dunedin and surrounding areas.

There is so much talent in the deep south, we wanted you to experience a little of it.

All our presenters live locally and have much to offer in terms of their journeys and insights.

Do you want to learn about fibre taxidermy, understand the workings of a winning fashion designer, what does roller derby and weaving have in common?  Have you wondered how to put all those colours together in one garment, why felt when gardening is your jam?  Or why does fibre crafting put me on such a natural high?

There are many more fabulous session’s & a fashion show to celebrate too.

We also bring to you our talented friends & yarny traders, from the West Coast, Oamaru, Christchurch, Mosgiel and inland to Wanaka.  We most certainly have the South Island covered, right here in Dunedin!
